Baby Grapes

If strawberries announce the coming of fruit, grapes signal the end of the season. They produce the wine used to celebrate the final harvest. We planted a few grape cuttings last fall, and they've just now begun to leaf and grow. One of the cuttings has this small bunch of grapes. How small is the bunch? VERY small. This photo was taken with my macro lens (hand-held because I'm a fool) — the actual bunch of grapes was about the size of pen cap. Maybe smaller.
