I love this mountain. In 1985, I climbed it with 3 friends from college. We were stupid. We went up with only 1 bottle of water each...then scrambled down just before dark. However, I will never forget the "message" we found at the peak. There was a wooden box that was very weathered. Inside was some paper that had been, obviously, moldy at one time. It had a name and date on it. I cannot remember what it said...
