9/11 Tribute
Every year, from 11.Sep through 31.Dec, beams of light are fired skyward through the crystal spires of the Oregon Convention Center-our own Twin Towers-in honor of the fellow humans who died in the World Trade Center disaster of 11.Sep.2001, for no good reason.

This photo was taken from the NE 28th Ave overpass over the Banfield Freeway. It was on a Vivitar VivCam 3705 on auto-everytihng. It is poetic the way the course of the I-84 augurs directly toward the towers from NE 28th to the Lloyd Blvd exit.
