I meant "new wave-art", not "new-wave art." ;)

I saw those when I went to corvallis not long ago , its sort of strange that they have them there because corvallis is not near the ocean.

Once about a year ago, I was swimming at Willamette park with a mask on: foot-long fish were following me. I would stand up in the water and then dive backwards into the current to see the persistent 6-12 curious fish. It was great! On my way home, stopped at a traffic light, I looked over to see one of these sculptures. It was the first time I noticed that fish were on them. At that moment I knew why they were there: they represent a deep connection to the river. I felt like they expressed my life. Now when I see them, I think, "What a strange pedestrian!" Then I remember - and hold my breath to dive.
